We heard Ely, Minnesota was the absolute water capitol of the northern wilderness area. Every other car seemed to be either pulling a boat or hauling it on top. Boat rental companies lined the rugged single main street.
Pretty views - lakes surround the small town (mosquitoes do too) . . .
We found a coffee shop with a nice view --
-- and the sunsets weren't too shabby either.
