A Driving Day Across South Dakota

Today was a driving day to get across South Dakota - lots of good Sirius country music and talk radio. This truck had antlers.

This van didn't want to mess with factory air.

Near Murdo, SD - an attraction beside the Interstate advertises a Cowboy Town made with props from the set of 'Dancing With Wolves' that was filmed nearby. I don't know what's with this emaciated golden cow statue - it's placed in front of an adjacent dinner train ("Closed for the season") - what an appetite suppressant.

And a little farther down the Interstate . . .

Then I drove by acres and acres of never ending sunflower fields - armies of plants standing straight with fuzzy brown nodding heads . . .

Tonite I crossed the Mighty Missouri!
