We decided to spend 2 nights in Red River, New Mexico. This is Main Street.
We found a room with a deck that extends over a stream that runs through town . . .
. . . and located next to one of the several ski lifts.
Deer roam freely through the streets. We watched as they jump over fences to graze on lawns.
We took a drive out of town to a cabin and second home area: Valley of the Pines.
Folks hang their home names on cattle guards . . .
. . . and available trees.
We found a real fixer upper cabin. Tomorrow we drive through eastern New Mexico.
